Multi-Site Make Ready Technician

Pay: $22.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Overview

We're seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Site Make Ready Technician to support multiple apartment communities throughout the Kansas City metro area. This position requires traveling to different properties each day, with occasional visits to two nearby communities in the same day.

Service Areas Include:

• Kansas City, MO
• Grandview, MO
• Belton, MO

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns and make-ready projects to prepare units for move-in.
• Perform basic maintenance repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Install and replace fixtures, hardware, and other unit components.
• Troubleshoot and complete minor appliance repairs.
• Perform painting, touch-ups, and general unit repairs as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Communicate progress and maintenance needs with onsite property teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Make Ready Technician or Apartment Maintenance Technician required.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Basic electrical repairs
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Carpentry and hardware installation
  • Basic appliance troubleshooting
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Must provide your own basic maintenance tools.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.
