Position Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
• Location: Nashville, TN (37221)
• Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the community, completing work orders, and ensuring vacant units are move-in ready. This role requires strong technical skills, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks daily.

Key Responsibilities

Service Requests (Tickets)

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally
• Troubleshoot issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances
• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and resident expectations

Make-Ready (Unit Turnovers)

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Complete repairs, painting, cleaning touch-ups, and inspections
• Ensure units meet company standards for move-in readiness

General Maintenance

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas
• Identify and address safety hazards throughout the property

Team & Property Support

• Communicate effectively with property management and team members
• Assist with maintaining inventory of supplies and tools
• Work collaboratively to ensure property goals and timelines are met

Qualifications

• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (required)
• Proven experience in running service tickets and completing make-readies
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and strong work ethic
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role
