Position Details

• Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
• Location: Nashville, TN (37076)
• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time (schedule may vary based on property needs)

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the community. This position is responsible for completing service requests, assisting with unit turns, and ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Ensure all completed work meets quality and safety standards

Unit Turnovers

• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs, cleaning, and inspections
• Assist with painting, drywall repairs, flooring, and appliance installation
• Ensure units are move-in ready and meet company standards

Property Upkeep

• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas and grounds
• Assist with trash removal, landscaping support, and general upkeep
• Identify and report any safety hazards or property concerns

Vendor & Team Collaboration

• Work with contractors and vendors when needed
• Ensure work performed by third parties meets expectations
• Communicate effectively with property management and team members

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and company regulations

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or related experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as required
