Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician – Property Management

Location: ST Louis, MO

Schedule: Monday through Friday

We’re seeking a dependable and skilled Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations and ensure our community stays safe, functional, and well‑maintained. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience and at least one maintenance‑related certification who’s ready to grow into a lead role.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete work orders involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Assist with preventive maintenance and routine inspections
• Support unit turns, including repairs, installations, and troubleshooting
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on‑call rotation
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with property policies
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and the maintenance supervisor

Qualifications

• At least one maintenance‑related certification (EPA, HVAC, CPO, or similar)
• 1–3 years of experience in apartment or commercial maintenance
• Strong knowledge of general repairs and building systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
