Fire Watch / Property Watchperson

Location: Clackamas, OR 97015

Schedule: Nights / Weekends / On‑Call Shifts

We’re hiring a dependable Fire Watch / Property Watchperson to help keep our community safe, secure, and well‑maintained. This role is essential to protecting valuable property, supplies, and amenities during hours when regular staff are not on site. If you’re detail‑oriented, responsible, and committed to service excellence, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Monitor community office, amenities, property grounds, and supplies
• Notify supervisors or proper authorities when necessary
• Inspect all windows, doors, and building entrances to ensure they are closed and secured
• Conduct regular checks of office areas and community amenities
• Document incidents accurately and clearly
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting residents and staff

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Honest, reliable, responsible, and conscientious
• General understanding of watchperson duties
• Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies
• Strong written communication for incident reporting
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, or unusual shifts
• Friendly, positive attitude with a commitment to service excellence
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and stay on schedule
