Make Ready Technician – Property Management

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: $18-$19 per hour

We’re seeking a dependable and detail‑driven Make Ready Technician to join our property management team. This role is essential in preparing vacant units for new residents and ensuring every home meets our quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Complete all make‑ready tasks including painting, patching, cleaning, and general repairs
• Inspect units and identify items needing repair or replacement
• Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance tasks
• Ensure units are move‑in ready according to company standards and timelines
• Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in clean, organized condition
• Support maintenance team with work orders as needed
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and needed repairs
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and staff

Qualifications

• 1+ year of make‑ready, handyman, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of general repairs, painting, and cleaning procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple unit turns
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and a positive, team‑oriented attitude
