Make Ready Technician – Property Management

Location: Forth Worth, TX 76177

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: $18-$19 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Make Ready Technician to join our property management team. This role is essential in preparing vacant units for new residents and ensuring our community maintains a clean, high‑quality appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all make‑ready tasks including painting, patching, cleaning, and general repairs
• Inspect units and identify items needing repair or replacement before move‑in
• Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance tasks
• Ensure all units meet company quality standards and are move‑in ready on schedule
• Maintain inventory of supplies and keep work areas clean and organized
• Support maintenance team with work orders as needed
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and needed repairs
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and staff

Qualifications

• 1+ year of make‑ready or property maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of general repairs, painting, and cleaning procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple unit turns
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude
