Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician

Location: San Diego, CA 92101

Pay: $25-$26 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations at our residential community. This role helps keep the property safe, clean, and well‑maintained for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Help with unit turns, painting, and basic carpentry
• Perform routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and grounds
• Support the Lead Maintenance Technician as needed

Requirements

• Maintenance certification (EPA, HVAC, or similar) preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
