Maintenance Technician (Non‑Certified)- Property Management

• Pay Rate: $23-$24/hour
• Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80910
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Type: Contract‑to‑Hire

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our apartment community. If you’re dependable, skilled with general repairs, and have strong plumbing experience, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within property management.

Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance requests, including plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Assist with unit make‑readies, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Perform routine property upkeep such as grounds care, trash removal, and common‑area maintenance
• Respond to work orders promptly and professionally
• Support preventative maintenance programs and property inspections

Requirements

• Plumbing experience required
• 1–2 years of general maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical and appliance troubleshooting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
