BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for a well-established property in Richmond, VA (23223). This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with consistent weekday hours and competitive pay.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Location: Richmond, VA 23223

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general carpentry issues
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and property regulations
• Provide professional customer service to residents and property staff

Qualifications

• Maintenance certification required (HVAC, EPA, CPO, or equivalent preferred)
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
• Strong knowledge of building systems and general maintenance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation, tools, and strong troubleshooting skills
