BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support an apartment community in Tampa, FL (33613). The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent resident‑relations abilities, and a solid understanding of vouchers and Section 8 programs, which is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily property operations and resident relations
• Process applications, certifications, renewals, and lease paperwork
• Manage rent collection, ledgers, and basic financial reporting
• Support compliance efforts, including voucher programs and Section 8 requirements
• Handle resident inquiries with professionalism and urgency
• Maintain accurate records and ensure files meet audit standards
• Assist with marketing, tours, and occupancy goals
• Provide operational support to the onsite team as needed

Requirements

• Experience with vouchers and Section 8 required
• Previous Assistant Property Manager or property management administrative experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently
• Professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented
• Experience with property management software preferred
