Position Details

• Role: Maintenance Technician / Make Ready
• Location: Carrboro, NC 27510
• Pay: $18/hr
• Schedule: Three days per week, 8 AM–5 PM
• Primary Duties: Turning apartment homes and handling move‑out preparation

Responsibilities

• Prepare and refresh apartment units for new move‑ins
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including:
  • Painting and touch‑ups
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Light electrical work
  • Appliance checks and minor fixes
• Clean and restore units after move‑outs
• Assist with general property maintenance as needed
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Previous maintenance or make‑ready experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic repairs and unit turns
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Willingness to support the maintenance team as needed
