About the Opportunity

BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Assistant Maintenance Technician for a full‑time contract role in Daytona Beach, FL. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and has experience with general apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance operations throughout the property
• Perform basic to intermediate repairs involving:
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Appliance troubleshooting and repair
  • Carpentry and general upkeep
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Support unit turns and make‑ready tasks as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and property guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in apartments or residential settings preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
• Reliable, professional, and customer‑service oriented
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
