Commercial Building Engineer

Direct Hire; - $35/hour - $50/hour Salary $72,500 - $104,000 (Hourly Position)

West Hollywood, CA 90069

*Must have Class A office experience

Duties include:

• Engineering maintenance for commercial building operations in the West Hollywood area.
• Daily building inspections.
• Manage daily building operations not limited to plumbing, HVAC systems and electrical.
• The ability to trouble-shoot problems that may arise.
• Ability to provide superior customer relations through positive interaction with
• tenants and responsive action in addressing their needs.
• Ability to interact with vendors and suppliers so as to ensure that the best possible product and service is provided.
• Providing emergency on-call services for assigned buildings.
• Building Management System Software
• Preventive Maintenance Schedule
• Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years experience as a general commercial building engineer.
• A minimum of 5 years’ HVAC experience in commercial buildings.
• General mechanical knowledge is required.
• Working knowledge of different types of equipment and tools.
• Ability to provide superior customer relations through positive interaction with tenants and responsive action in addressing their needs.
• Ability to interact with vendors and suppliers so as to ensure that the best possible product and service is provided.
• Reliable transportation, a valid Drivers License, with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
• Must be a team player with can do approach with projects and the ability to manage multiple tasks & meet deadlines.
• Computer, Smartphone and iPad knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50lbs
• Stand for long periods of time
• Walking for extended periods of time
• Able to bend knees, lift arms above shoulder and use hands
• Stoop
