Leasing Consultant (Affordable Housing)

Location: Madison, WI

Salary: $20 – $22/hr

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join an affordable housing community in Madison, WI. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leasing, sales, and resident interaction while maintaining strong compliance standards.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver an exceptional experience to prospects and residents through tours, follow-up, and communication
• Conduct engaging property tours and convert leads into leases
• Manage incoming leads, schedule appointments, and maintain an active leasing pipeline
• Process applications, verify documentation, and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support move-ins and ensure a smooth resident onboarding experience
• Maintain a clean, tour-ready community and leasing office
• Assist with marketing efforts, outreach, and online listings
• Ensure all activities follow Fair Housing guidelines and company policies

What You Bring

• 1+ year of property management or leasing experience (affordable/LIHTC preferred)
• Strong customer service, sales, and closing skills
• Excellent communication and follow-up ability
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, Yardi, or similar systems
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
