Assistant Property Manager

Location: Pendleton, OR 97801

Pay: $22–$23/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Assignment: Contract to Hire

Join a fast‑paced multifamily community where you’ll support daily operations, resident relations, leasing activity, and financial tasks that keep the property running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities

• To assist residents with communication and customer service needs
• To support leasing, renewals, and occupancy goals
• To process rent payments and maintain accurate ledgers
• To prepare and file eviction documentation per property policy
• To complete administrative tasks, reporting, and recordkeeping
• To handle resident concerns with professionalism and conflict‑resolution skills
• To ensure compliance with Fair Housing and property procedures

Qualifications

• Apartment industry/multifamily experience required
• Customer service and administrative experience required
• Experience with property management software such as Yardi or Onesite
• Ability to review ledgers and process financial transactions
• Experience with evictions and delinquency processes
• Strong communication, organization, and conflict‑resolution skills
