Resident Manager (Luxury Multifamily)

Location: Queens, NY

Salary: $100,000 – $105,000 + On-Site Housing

Lead Building Operations. Deliver Excellence.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Resident Manager to oversee daily operations at a luxury residential community in Flushing, NY. This role is ideal for a strong operator who takes pride in maintaining a high-performing building, leading teams effectively, and ensuring an exceptional resident experience.

This is a building-focused leadership role, responsible for maintenance operations, team management, and overall property standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead, train, and supervise maintenance and janitorial teams
• Oversee all building operations including repairs, preventative maintenance, and overall upkeep
• Ensure the property maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality
• Conduct routine inspections and proactively address operational needs
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and quality control
• Oversee budgets, monitor expenses, and support cost control initiatives
• Respond to and resolve escalated maintenance and service-related issues
• Coordinate emergency response and ensure 24/7 operational readiness
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures
• Support capital projects, system improvements, and operational efficiencies
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and operational documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience managing building operations, maintenance, or facilities teams
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and operational oversight
• Hands-on, “boots on the ground” leadership style
• Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in emergency situations
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Chinese required
