Apartment Maintenance Technician (Certified & Non‑Certified)

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46254

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $19–$20/hr based on experience

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Description

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, complete work orders, and assist with general repairs throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• To perform preventive maintenance on property systems
• To troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
• To conduct safety inspections and manage repair records
• To handle general building repairs and carpentry
• To support overall property maintenance and resident service

Required Skills & Qualifications

• EPA Type II or Universal certification required for certified tech roles
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs
• General building maintenance and carpentry experience
• Ability to work independently and manage work orders efficiently
• Strong problem‑solving and customer service skills
