Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Compensation:

$18-$20 an hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary

The Day Porter maintains the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the building and supports daily maintenance operations by performing inspections, cleaning, and light maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily building, equipment, and safety inspections; report issues to the Building Engineer.
• Maintain exterior areas, parking lot, entrances, and dumpster areas.
• Clean and restock public restrooms and common areas.
• Vacuum and straighten entrance mats; clean high-touch surfaces.
• Replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles as needed.
• Inspect stairwells, mechanical rooms, vacant suites, and tenant/common areas.
• Complete work orders and assist the Building Engineer as needed.
• Monitor and report supply inventory needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties, including changing filters, grease motors, inspecting/adjusting belts. 
• Monitor and maintain optimum performance of all building systems. 

Qualifications

• Porter, janitorial, or light maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work independently.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
