Apartment Property Manager – $24/hr (Contract‑to‑Hire)

Take the lead at a conventional, market‑rate community in the heart of Newark! In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, support residents, and help drive occupancy and community success. If you’re organized, professional, and experienced in multifamily management, this is an exciting step forward.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations at a conventional, market‑rate property
• Oversee leasing, renewals, and resident relations
• Support vendors, maintenance coordination, and work order follow‑through
• Ensure compliance with community policies and fair housing guidelines
• Maintain accurate reporting and assist with financial tasks as needed

Required Skills

• Prior experience as a Property Manager in multifamily
• Strong background with conventional, market‑rate communities
• Excellent communication and resident‑service skills
• Ability to manage operations independently
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of industry leasing software
• Experience with contract‑to‑hire placements or transition roles
