Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Compensation: $34 – $36 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations for a large multifamily community. This is a key leadership role for someone who is highly skilled in property maintenance, enjoys mentoring a team, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, and daily supervision to the maintenance team.
• Ensure service requests and work orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Schedule, coordinate, and oversee in-house and vendor/contractor work.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of all maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep the property in top condition.
• Research and evaluate products and materials to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Assist the team with service requests as needed to maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and work weekends as needed.
