Roving Maintenance Technician

Location: DFW | Full-Time- Direct Hire | Up to $62k

We’re offering a great opportunity in commercial real estate for a hands-on, self-motivated Building Maintenance Technician to join a growing team. This regional/roving role supports multiple commercial properties throughout North Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Conduct monthly inspections of interior and exterior property areas and document findings via company software (photos required).

·       Self-perform general maintenance:

·       Light bulb/ballast replacement

·       Grounds and exterior cleaning

·       Sheetrock repair, tape, float & texture

·       Ceiling tile replacement

·       Pressure washing

·       Light carpentry & painting

·       Supervise and coordinate vendors such as janitorial, security, landscaping, and HVAC contractors.

·       Schedule and escort third-party inspectors (lenders, appraisers, etc.).

·       Manage tenant service requests through Happy Fox software, from intake to completion.

·       Oversee vendor bids, obtain estimates, and ensure cost-effective maintenance within budget.

·       Support Fire/Life Safety procedures and tenant transitions (move-ins/move-outs).

·       Maintain accurate tenant contact records and communicate effectively with company Principals and Partners.

Qualifications:

·       Valid Texas Driver’s License (travel throughout North TX and OK required)

·       High School Diploma or GED

·       Minimum 3 years experience in real estate maintenance, property management, or a closely related field

·       Strong hands-on maintenance skills across a variety of trades
