Pay - $22/hour


Are you detail-oriented, quick to learn, and looking for an opportunity to grow your skills? We are seeking an International Shipping Clerk to join our team. This role requires a strong administrative background, experience with shipping processes, and the ability to navigate the detailed requirements of international shipments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong administrative skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Previous office or administrative experience creating shipping labels.
  • Experience with a variety of shipping processes, including international shipments.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn international shipping codes and customs requirements.
  • Comfortable working in a small, confined mailroom setting.
  • Ability to walk between multiple floors as part of daily duties.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and reliability.
  • Comfortable answering and transferring operator calls through virtual phones (not high volume, but requires professionalism).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing domestic and international shipments.
  • Apply and verify international shipping codes; stay updated on changes to regulations and requirements.
  • Create and manage customs documents for international shipments.
  • Generate shipping labels and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
  • Maintain records of shipments, deliveries, and related paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external shipping partners.
  • Answer and transfer operator calls as needed.

Challenges & Opportunities:

The most complex part of this role is managing international shipping requirements, which demand continuous attention to detail. Codes and regulations can change frequently, so this position requires diligence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow through with accuracy.
