Technical Writer

Location: Onsite – Alexandria, VA

Clearance: Active Secret (or higher) required

Overview:

Seeking a Technical Writer to develop clear, concise documentation, training materials, and deployment guides. Role involves translating complex technical information into content accessible to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and compile information from multiple sources
• Work closely with technical staff to interpret and translate content
• Create and edit technical documents, manuals, diagrams, and graphics
• Provide recommendations on documentation format and communication strategies
• Assist with design and development of illustrations and media (audio/video), ideally using Adobe Captivate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years in technical writing, editing, and documentation
• Familiarity with technical style guides and formatting
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings
• Skilled in graphic/media tools; SharePoint admin experience is a plus
• Prior work with government organizations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative skills
