Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Data Scientist with strong hands-on skills in Python, NLP, RAG LLMs, ML, and Generative AI. This role focuses on solving real-world problems through advanced data solutions and NLP/LLM model development.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy NLP and LLM-based models and pipelines
• Develop scalable ML and Generative AI solutions
• Analyze complex data, identify gaps, and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with analysts to close data and monitoring gaps
• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of Data Science experience
• Expertise in Python, NLP, ML, LLMs, RAG, and data engineering
• Familiar with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, NLTK, Spark, Airflow
• Experience with AWS, Azure ML (optional), SQL, Git
• Skilled in data cleaning, feature engineering, and model deployment (DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust
• On-site role in Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI chatbots, semantic search, and anomaly detection
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, GPU programming, and tools like Mathematica
• Government project experience preferred
• Familiarity with markup languages (LaTeX, HTML)
