Job Description

Support a student housing community by completing make-ready tasks, basic repairs, unit turns, grounds upkeep, trash outs, cleaning, and general porter duties. Use your own tools to complete light maintenance work. Contract role with weekly pay through BGSF.

Key Responsibilities

· To complete make-ready/unit turn tasks (patch, paint, caulk, replace hardware)

· To perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, light carpentry)

· To clean and prepare vacated units and common areas

· To maintain grounds: trash pickup, curb appeal, breezeways, amenities

· To assist maintenance team with work orders as needed

Required Skills

· Previous make-ready, porter, janitorial, or maintenance experience

· Ability to provide and safely use your own tools

· Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift

· Ability to work independently and follow community guidelines

Preferred Skills

· Experience in student housing or multifamily

· Basic troubleshooting (plumbing/electrical)

· Familiarity with unit turns or work order apps

You will be employed by BGSF, a staffing agency, and placed on assignment at a student housing property. Contract role with future opportunities based on performance.
