The Regional Manager functions as the asset manager of a designated portfolio. The main goal of this role is to proactively support Property Managers by empowering, educating and preparing them to run their business. This role assists in the development and monitoring of company policies and procedures related to property management. It is responsible for recruitment, training, development and supervision of Property Managers and shares responsibility for maintaining the physical asset and performance of assigned properties. You will be a primary contact with your clients – your written and interpersonal communication with them is key to your success. You will be the corporate arm to your sites, carrying culture and company-wide objectives with you through your site visits and weekly calls with your Property Managers. To be an effective MNA teammate, you will need to: Have a great attitude Have high expectations Work with passion Be confident Be self-sufficient and self-motivated Take pride in your work Be a good listener Offer a solution with every problem Be inspiring and empower your teams KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Business acumen Financial management Analysis skills Communication proficiency Ethical conduct Leadership skills Relationship management Performance management ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ensures the team of Property Managers work to execute the strategy of the Owner(s) Exhibits a clear understanding of complex financial statements and budgets Ensures the staff is proficient in understanding complex financial statements and budgets Performs salary administration, conducts interviews and makes recommendations for new hires, consultants and/or replacement personnel for Property Managers within assigned portfolio Tracks progress and reports results on a regular basis Represents MNA with owners, vendors and the company at large during meetings and in team association events in a positive manner Assumes responsibility for financial management and reporting for properties within assigned portfolio Prepares, locates and compiles information and documents for budgets, bills and financial reports Drives a motor vehicle frequently traveling between properties in the assigned portfolio Oversees the successful execution of MNA’s community performance and non-negotiables by the team Follows and enforces all company policies and procedures Performs all other duties as assigned SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a field such as management, human services, or a related field or 5 years of multiple-location management experience in property management required
