Searching for a new opportunity? Our firm, BGSF, is constantly hiring strong Accountants open to consulting engagements within the greater Houston area. Below are some of the daily responsibilities we're seeking:

• Ensure accurate monthly closing of accounting records
• Ensure accounting policies, systems and controls exist and make recommendations where necessary 
• Analyze General Ledger accounts and related reconciliations 
• Control and review the recording of all transactions into the General Ledger; reconcile subledger to GL account balances
• Verify transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare monthly budget variance analysis  
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and reports 

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' corporate accounting experience 
• BA/BS in Accounting Finance, Business or related field 
• Major ERP systems experience to include Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc. 
• Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables, LOOKUPs, Sum/Ifs
• Excellent internal / external customer service communication
