Searching for a new consulting opportunity? Our firm, BGSF, is seeking Revenue Accountants open to contract engagements within the greater Houston area. This incumbent will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, consolidating financial statement preparation and variance analysis. Below are some of the following requirement we're seeking:

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and reports 
• Ensure accurate monthly closing of accounting records
• Ensure accounting policies, systems and controls exist and make recommendations where necessary 
• Analyze General Ledger accounts and related reconciliations 
• Control and review the recording of all transactions into the General Ledger; reconcile subledger to GL account balances
• Verify transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare monthly budget variance analysis  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' corporate accounting experience 
• BA/BS in Accounting Finance, Business or related field 
• Major ERP systems experience to include Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc. 
• Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables, LOOKUPs, Sum/Ifs
• Excellent internal / external customer service communication
