Multifamily Maintenance Supervisor – EPA Universal Required

Salary: $70,000–$80,000

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for an established multifamily community in Charlotte.

This opportunity is ideal for a strong HVAC professional who enjoys leading from the front, developing employees, and ensuring service requests, apartment turns, and preventive maintenance are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support a team of four maintenance professionals.
• Work alongside the team on service requests, apartment turns, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Provide technical guidance on plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues.
• Assign daily priorities and monitor work quality and completion.
• Coordinate maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and vendor needs.
• Maintain high standards for safety, resident service, and property appearance.
• Partner with property and regional leadership on maintenance priorities.
• Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of multifamily or apartment maintenance experience.
• At least one year of Maintenance Supervisor or maintenance leadership experience.
• EPA Universal or CFC Universal certification required.
• Strong residential HVAC diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, apartment turns, and preventive maintenance.
• Proven ability to train, organize, and support a maintenance team.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
