BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and driven Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established multifamily community in Chester, Virginia. Position Overview

As the Apartment Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the maintenance team while ensuring all service requests, repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and unit turns are completed efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical repairs, plumbing, appliances, and general apartment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team in daily operations
• Assign, monitor, and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance and property appearance
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues
• Manage apartment unit turns and ensure make-readies are completed on schedule
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Coordinate and communicate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and materials
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to residents while maintaining a professional and positive attitude

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Maintenance Technician
• Apartment maintenance experience is required
• Strong knowledge of:
  • HVAC systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Appliance maintenance
  • General building maintenance
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
