📍 Location: Marysville, OH 43040

💲 Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

🕒 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Position Summary

As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you will play an essential role in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and curb appeal of the apartment community. Your efforts help create a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and prospective tenants while ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and professionally maintained.

This position requires someone who is proactive, attentive to detail, and committed to high standards of cleanliness and property presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property's grounds and common areas
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the community on a daily basis
• Ensure sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, and amenity areas remain clean and presentable
• Clean and maintain community amenities, laundry facilities, clubhouse areas, and other shared spaces
• Assist with apartment trash-outs and unit preparation as needed
• Perform light maintenance and general labor duties as assigned
• Assist maintenance staff with property projects and community upkeep
• Monitor the property for safety hazards and report issues to management
• Maintain exterior curb appeal through routine inspections and cleaning
• Support the overall operation of the maintenance team and property management staff

Qualifications

✅ Previous porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, custodial, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred

✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

✅ Ability to work independently and efficiently throughout the day

✅ Positive attitude and strong work ethic

✅ Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

✅ Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills

✅ Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required

✅ Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and delivering exceptional service

Physical Requirements

This position involves physical activity throughout the workday and may require:

• Walking the property for extended periods
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
• Lifting and carrying materials, equipment, and supplies
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Performing repetitive cleaning and groundskeeping tasks
