Position Details
Job Title: Porter / Groundskeeper
Location: Madison, WI 53703
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property. Daily duties may include:
- Keeping grounds, walkways, and common areas clean and free of debris
- Picking up trash and maintaining waste disposal areas
- Assisting with property curb appeal and landscaping upkeep
- Sweeping, pressure washing, and general exterior cleaning
- Monitoring common areas for cleanliness and safety concerns
- Assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed
- Reporting maintenance issues or property concerns to management
- Supporting the maintenance team with various property projects
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, maintenance, or landscaping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Dress Code
To maintain a professional appearance on property, employees are required to wear:
