Regional Manager – Multifamily Property Management

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager – Multifamily Property Management to oversee a portfolio of apartment communities in the Houston, Texas market.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Regional Property Manager, Regional Manager, Regional Supervisor, or multi-site multifamily leader who has a strong background in property operations, team leadership, budgeting, financial performance, maintenance oversight, and portfolio management.
The Regional Manager will provide hands-on leadership to Community Managers and onsite teams while helping each property achieve its operational, financial, and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day performance of multiple multifamily apartment communities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support Community Managers and onsite property management teams
- Conduct regular property visits and monthly onsite inspections
- Evaluate property operations, staffing, maintenance, curb appeal, and overall community performance
- Identify operational challenges and partner with onsite leadership to develop solutions
- Monitor financial and operational performance across the assigned portfolio
- Review monthly financial statements and property-level results
- Partner with Community Managers to prepare annual operating budgets
- Monitor expenses, budget variances, and financial performance
- Develop strategies to address properties that are not meeting established goals
- Monitor property maintenance needs and recommend capital improvements when appropriate
- Help communities maintain a strong competitive position within their respective markets
- Establish clear expectations and accountability for onsite leadership
- Develop Community Managers and strengthen overall team performance
- Ensure consistent execution of operational standards throughout the portfolio
Qualifications
- Required: Previous Regional Manager, Regional Property Manager, Regional Supervisor, or comparable multi-site leadership experience within multifamily property management
- Experience overseeing multiple apartment communities
- Strong understanding of multifamily operations and property management
- Experience leading and developing Community Managers and onsite teams
- Knowledge of operating budgets, financial reporting, expense management, and variance analysis
- Ability to analyze property performance and implement solutions
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple communities and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to travel locally throughout the Houston portfolio
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $100,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience.
