We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent resident relations, financial management, and property operations experience. Yardi experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations of the property
  • Manage leasing, renewals, occupancy, and resident retention
  • Maintain strong resident relationships and address concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage rent collections, delinquency, notices, and follow-up
  • Prepare and review property financial reports, budgets, and expenses
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
  • Use Yardi for resident accounts, reporting, leasing, financials, and property operations
  • Monitor property performance, occupancy, collections, and expenses
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure work orders and unit turns are completed on time
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee property projects
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure the community is well maintained
  • Hire, train, coach, and manage onsite team members
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and local regulations
  • Handle resident escalations and assist with eviction processes when necessary
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership/ownership

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of property management experience preferred
  • Multifamily property management experience strongly preferred
  • Yardi experience required
  • Strong understanding of leasing, collections, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Experience managing onsite teams and vendors
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of property performance
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
