Property Management | $18.00 - $19.00 per Hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will have experience with affordable housing programs, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to successfully guide prospective residents through the leasing process while ensuring compliance with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Saturday (scheduled hours will vary; one day off during the week)

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective and current residents in a professional manner.
• Conduct property tours and highlight community amenities and features.
• Process leasing applications and complete resident move-in documentation.
• Verify applicant eligibility and maintain compliance with LIHTC and affordable housing requirements.
• Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records.
• Follow up with prospects through phone calls, emails, and other marketing efforts.
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives.
• Respond to resident inquiries and coordinate with maintenance and management teams.
• Support occupancy goals and leasing performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing, property management, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of affordable housing compliance and income certification processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
