Assistant Property Manager (Tax Credit Experience Required)

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for an affordable housing community in Tampa, FL 33610. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC), Low-Income Housing, and Yardi software and possess a strong commitment to resident satisfaction, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Property Manager with the daily operations of the community
• Process applications, recertifications, and resident files in accordance with LIHTC and affordable housing regulations
• Maintain compliance with Tax Credit and Low-Income Housing program requirements
• Support leasing efforts, resident retention, and occupancy goals
• Collect rent, process payments, and assist with delinquency management
• Utilize Yardi software for resident management, reporting, and data entry
• Respond to resident inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and resident communications
• Maintain accurate resident and property records

Qualifications:

• Previous Assistant Property Manager experience required
• Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties
• Experience with Low-Income Housing programs
• Proficiency in Yardi required
• Knowledge of affordable housing compliance and recertification processes
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
