🕒 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

📋 Position Type: Apartment Maintenance Technician

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, community buildings, and common areas while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to:

• Completing resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Performing general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshooting and repairing appliances
• Assisting with basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
• Performing minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks
• Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents (make-readies/turns)
• Repairing doors, locks, windows, cabinetry, drywall, and flooring as needed
• Maintaining community grounds and common areas
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Supporting the property team with special projects and maintenance initiatives

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

✅ Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience

✅ Working knowledge of:

• Appliance repair
• Basic plumbing
• Basic electrical
• Drywall repair
• Painting
• Carpentry
• General maintenance practices

✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

✅ Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills

✅ Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic

✅ Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as required

✅ Commitment to safety and professional standards
