Position Summary
The Property Manager serves as the operational leader of the community, balancing resident satisfaction, financial performance, and property standards. You will work closely with residents, vendors, maintenance personnel, and ownership groups to ensure a positive living experience and a well-maintained property.
The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the apartment community
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resident support
- Manage resident relations and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate leasing activities and support occupancy goals
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and property regulations
- Supervise vendors, contractors, and on-site personnel as needed
- Conduct property inspections to ensure community standards are maintained
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and operational documentation
- Support rent collection processes and resident account management
- Maintain accurate resident files and property records
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident retention initiatives
- Foster a positive community atmosphere while representing the property professionally
Qualifications
- Previous Property Manager experience preferred
- Multifamily housing experience is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with leasing, resident relations, and property operations
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
