Location: Houston, TX 77015

Schedule: Monday through Saturday with a day off during week

Pay: $18 per hour

We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Leasing Consultant with Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience to join our growing property management team. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional resident experiences, maintaining compliance standards, and driving occupancy through effective leasing and resident retention efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment tours and effectively showcase community amenities and features.
• Respond promptly to prospective resident inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Process applications and assist with move-ins and renewals.
• Verify income, assets, and household eligibility in accordance with LIHTC and affordable housing regulations.
• Maintain accurate resident and applicant files to ensure compliance.
• Prepare leases and related documentation.
• Support resident retention initiatives and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with marketing efforts, outreach activities, and occupancy goals.
• Collaborate with property management staff to ensure community standards are maintained.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 year of leasing experience in multifamily housing.
• Previous experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) communities.
• Knowledge of affordable housing compliance and income certification processes.
• Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Preferred

• Experience with Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, or similar property management platforms.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Fair Housing knowledge and compliance experience.
