Position Details

• Position: Apartment Leasing Consultant
• Location: Austin, TX 78729
• Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Saturday Availability Required: Alternating Saturdays, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Opportunities: Contract and Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and conduct community tours
• Present apartment homes and effectively communicate community features and benefits
• Deliver outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
• Process rental applications and prepare lease documentation
• Answer and manage high-volume phone calls, emails, and office traffic
• Assist with resident relations and service request follow-up
• Support community marketing efforts and outreach initiatives
• Maintain accurate leasing records and resident files
• Contribute to a professional, welcoming, and resident-focused office environment
• Assist with daily office operations and administrative tasks

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Previous apartment leasing experience preferred
• OneSite experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
• Friendly, engaging personality with the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects and residents
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment with frequent phone traffic, walk-in visitors, and leasing activity
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and accountability
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Punctual, dependable, and professional
• Quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Comfortable using property management software and standard office technology
