BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at a residential apartment community in Taunton, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who takes pride in property appearance, resident satisfaction, and maintaining a safe, well-functioning community.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, coordinate service requests, manage preventative maintenance programs, and lead maintenance staff to ensure all work is completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist maintenance technicians with daily work orders and apartment turns
• Coordinate and perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Ensure timely completion of resident service requests while maintaining excellent customer service
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and property inspections
• Manage apartment make-ready processes and quality control standards
• Monitor inventory and maintenance supply levels
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and property standards
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
• Collaborate with property management to maintain resident satisfaction and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Maintenance Technician, or similar apartment maintenance leadership role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
• Leadership experience with the ability to train, motivate, and support a maintenance team
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
• EPA Certification is preferred
