Now Hiring: Assistant Maintenance Technician – Frisco, TX 75034

Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Opportunity: Temporary or Temp-to-Hire Assignment

BG Staffing is seeking a dependable Non-Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support a 134-unit apartment community in Frisco, TX 75034. This role will focus on completing open work orders and assisting with general property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete and close open maintenance work orders
• Diagnose and repair household appliances
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
• Complete painting, patching, and minor repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Communicate work-order progress with onsite staff
• Follow all safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Appliance repair experience required
• EPA or HVAC certification is not required
• Strong troubleshooting and general maintenance skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of open work orders
• Must have basic hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
