BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician to support an apartment community in Dallas, TX 75220. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in preparing apartment homes for new residents, and can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Position Details

• Role: Make Ready Technician
• Location: Dallas, TX 75220
• Pay: $18/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Opportunity Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns and make-ready tasks in a timely manner
• Prepare units for move-ins through repairs, touch-ups, and general upkeep
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry repairs
• Install and replace fixtures, hardware, and apartment components
• Troubleshoot appliances and complete minor repairs
• Maintain safe work practices and proper tool usage
• Communicate progress and unit status with onsite management and maintenance staff

Requirements

• Previous Make Ready or Apartment Maintenance experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
• Must have own basic tools
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
