BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Bilingual Leasing Consultant to support a thriving affordable housing community in Sterling, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leasing professional with experience in Affordable Housing, Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs, Yardi software, and fluency in both English and Spanish.
Position Overview
As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. You will play a key role in leasing apartments, maintaining occupancy goals, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse resident population.
The ideal candidate is professional, personable, organized, and knowledgeable about affordable housing compliance and leasing best practices.
Required Qualifications
✅ Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
✅ Previous experience as a Leasing Consultant or Property Management Professional
✅ Affordable Housing experience required
✅ Knowledge of LIHTC/Tax Credit programs
✅ Experience using Yardi property management software
✅ Strong customer service and communication skills
✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
✅ Professional appearance and positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct apartment tours and convert prospects into residents
- Process rental applications and leasing documentation
- Assist with income verification and affordable housing compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records
- Utilize Yardi software for resident and property management tasks
- Respond to resident inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Follow Fair Housing guidelines and company policies
- Support occupancy goals through proactive leasing and resident retention efforts
- Collaborate with property management staff to ensure smooth daily operations
