Pay: $19/hr

Schedule: Thursday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

BG Staffing is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to support an apartment community in Anna, TX 75409. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing apartment homes for new residents and can efficiently complete unit turns and general maintenance tasks.

Job Description

• Complete apartment make-readies and prepare units for move-in.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Complete painting, touch-ups, and general maintenance as needed.
• Ensure apartments are clean, functional, and move-in ready.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete unit turns in a timely manner.
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Replace fixtures, hardware, and basic components.
• Complete work orders assigned by onsite management.
• Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Communicate progress with the onsite maintenance team.

Required Qualifications

• Previous Make Ready or Apartment Maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Ability to paint, patch, and complete unit touch-ups.
• Must have basic hand tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the day.
