BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join a dynamic multifamily housing community in the Cleveland area. This is an excellent opportunity for a leasing professional with affordable housing experience who is looking to grow their career with a respected property management team.

Position Details

• Role: Tax Credit Leasing Consultant
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44120
• Pay: $20/hr
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–5PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Contract-to-hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Conduct leasing activities including tours, applications, and resident follow-up
• Assist with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance and leasing requirements
• Verify applicant eligibility and income documentation
• Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records
• Deliver outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
• Support occupancy goals and resident retention efforts
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous multifamily leasing experience required
• Tax Credit/Affordable Housing experience strongly preferred
• HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional) designation preferred
• Knowledge of LIHTC regulations and compliance standards
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in property management software is a plus
