BG Staffing is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Make Ready Technician to join a multifamily community in Florence, KY 41042. Position Overview
The primary focus of this role is completing high-quality apartment turns within established timelines while maintaining company standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation. The Make Ready Technician plays a critical role in preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents by performing repairs, touch-ups, and general maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and committed to producing exceptional work that helps create a positive first impression for incoming residents.
Compensation & Schedule

- Location: Florence, KY 41042
- Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Contract and Contract-to-Hire Opportunities Available
Uniform & Dress Code

- Attire: Grey shirt and khaki pants
- Company-provided polo shirts are available and will be provided by the property
Key Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turnovers with a focus on quality, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Prepare vacant units for move-in by performing repairs, cleaning, and touch-up work
- Patch and repair drywall as needed
- Complete interior painting and touch-up painting
- Replace fixtures, hardware, blinds, and other apartment components
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
- Inspect vacant units and identify items requiring repair or replacement
- Ensure apartments meet community and company standards prior to resident move-in
- Remove debris and prepare units for final inspections
- Assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the property when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
Required
- Previous Make Ready or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to perform painting, drywall repair, and general maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple unit turns efficiently
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred
- Previous experience in multifamily housing or property management maintenance
- Experience completing apartment turns in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maintenance certifications are a plus
