Assistant Maintenance Technician – Property Management

Location: DALLAS, TX 75220

Schedule : Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $21-$22 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician to support a multifamily property for a temporary 30–60 day assignment. This role will primarily focus on resolving city inspection deficiencies, requiring a candidate with strong, hands-on experience across all areas of property maintenance, particularly HVAC and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform plumbing repairs and troubleshooting.
• Assist with correcting city inspection deficiencies.
• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Handle general maintenance duties, including electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and other related repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to property standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous multifamily/apartment maintenance experience required.
• Strong HVAC and plumbing knowledge is a must.
• Well-rounded maintenance skill set across multiple trades.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
