Position: Building Engineer (Commercial Properties) – Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire)

Location: North Dallas / Addison, TX 75254

Pay: $30/hour

Portfolio:

• Corporate Office – Addison
• The Meridian – Irving
• 5600 Lover's Lane
• 1500 International
• Industrial Property at Skyline Dr.
• Total of 6 commercial buildings (5 office, 1 industrial)

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of commercial building engineering experience
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Life safety systems
• EMS and work order systems
• BAS/access control systems
• Cooling towers, air handlers, elevators
• Blueprint reading (basic)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems
• Respond to tenant service requests
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
• Coordinate outside contractors
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory
• Inspect buildings for safety and operational issues
• Assist with equipment installations and modifications
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and safely work from ladders

Employment Type: Contract with strong potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.
